Basic Overview

You may give us personal information when you place an order, sign up for a workshop or sign up to our newsletter. This info is usually your name, address and contact email. We will only use this information for what you give us it for e.g. you wont get a newsletter unless you sign up to our newsletters. If you have only signed up for a workshop we will only contact you about a workshop. All info is stored securely and we do not sell your data on. If you have made a purchase your payment details are held on the payment site, we do not store any card information. Paper Houses Design (referred to as “us”, “we”, or “our” within this policy) runs www.paperhousesdesign.com (referred to as “Service”).

The following information is about our policies in regards to the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and your rights regarding this.

Tracking Cookies Data – To help make the experience of using the Service more specific to you e.g. when you sign up for the newsletter the pop up box asking you to sign up to the newsletter wont come up again etc. You can change Cookies preferences for sites on your own device.

Disclosure and Security of Data – Security is important to us and we strive to make sure it is safe. All information we have about you is kept for Paper Houses Design use only as described in this policy and is never passed on to any other company, organisation or individual that is not assisting with the Service. All information website information is kept on the server, Square Space and it is password protected. Contact made via email is kept on in our password protected google mail. Any computers used to work with the information are those of Paper Houses Design only and are password protected, no public access computers are used. Any communications via paper, e.g. letters, order forms at tradeshows or notes from telephone calls etc. are kept in a secure location at Paper Houses Design business address. We do not sell any customer details with any third parties.

 

Your Rights – If you live in the European Economic Area your data rights are governed by GDPR and you are allowed to correct, amend, delete or limit the use of your Personal Data. If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Many sites use analytics such as Google Analytics to support and develop their Service for the customer.

Payments – We provide services and products that require payment. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). Online the payment processors we work with are Stripe and PayPal. At fairs + tradeshows we work with iZettle. Their Privacy Policies can be viewed here –

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.

If Paper Houses Design is working on a commission or licensing design etc. some customers prefer to pay by bank transfer. In this case the details we receive are that which are shared by you and your bank to us. Please refer to your bank for their own policy on this.

 

Other Web Sites – Sometimes we provide links to third party websites which are not affiliated with Paper Houses Design. The operators of these sites may collect information from you, which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy. These sites are out of our control and are not covered by Paper Houses Design’s Privacy Policy.

 

Children's Privacy – We do not allow persons who we know to be 13 or younger to become registered with Paper Houses Design and do not therefore knowingly solicit personal information from persons aged 13 or younger. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
